President – AT&T AdWorks

Rick Welday is the president of AT&T AdWorks, leading a team that works directly with national brand clients and media agencies to develop and execute advanced TV, digital, and cross-screen advertising campaigns. Under Welday’s leadership, AT&T AdWorks has generated nearly $2B in annual sales revenue. During his 26-year career with AT&T (previously SBC and Southwestern Bell), Welday has held roles including Chief Marketing Officer for AT&T’s consumer segment and Senior Vice President for AT&T Yellow Pages and Internet Yellow Page services. A graduate from Baylor University, Rick lives in Dallas with his wife (also a Baylor graduate) and their two children.

Jason Brown

Vice President – Head of National Sales

Jason Brown is vice president, Head of National Advertising Sales for AT&T AdWorks. In his current role, Brown is responsible for total national sales revenue including the leading addressable TV product in the industry. Leading up to his current role, Brown’s career was dedicated to launching and adopting emerging networks in the cable industry, with executive roles at Turner Broadcasting, NBC Cable, Discovery Networks and Screenvision. Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Amy Leifer
Amy Leifer

Vice President – Direct Response and Long Form Sales

Amy Leifer is vice president, head of Direct Response and Long Form Sales for AT&T AdWorks. Leifer is responsible for the sales, pricing and inventory management of the Direct Response Advertising Sales which includes the national Direct Response linear inventory, long form paid programming, live sports programming, interactive, digital and addressable advertising. Leifer’s previous roles include Vice President of Sales and Operations at the Game Show Network, and she was instrumental in creating and launching the DIRECTV advertising sales business at Columbia TriStar Television. Leifer holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Rhode Island and lives in Nyack, NY with her husband and two kids.

Matt Van Houten
Matthew Van Houten

Vice President – Head of Product and Business Development

Matthew Van Houten is vice president, Head of Product and Business Development for AT&T AdWorks, the advertising sales division of AT&T Entertainment Group (EG). Van Houten is responsible for leading the TV & digital product management, opt-in/policy, business development and ad innovation teams driving monetization opportunities across AT&T’s traditional and emerging media portfolios. Van Houten previously spent 8 years at Viacom working throughout their portfolio of media networks. He is also a university professor of entertainment marketing at CUNY Baruch College. Matt currently lives in Manhasset, New York with his wife and two sons. He is based in New York City.

Jamie Calandruccio

Vice President – Sales Planning and Operations

Jamie Calandruccio is vice president, Sales Planning and Advertising Operations for AT&T AdWorks. Calandruccio oversees pricing and planning, inventory management, billing & collections, business reporting, administrative operations and systems & operations for the advertising sales organization. Calandruccio previously held Sales Planning & Advertising Operations roles at 20th Television and Sony Pictures Television where she supported the DIRECTV advertising sales business from its inception in 1999. Calandruccio graduated from the State University of New York at Albany and lives in Harrison, NY with her husband and two sons.

Tom Hagopian
Tom Hagopian

Vice President – Data Monetization, Research & Analytics

Tom Hagopian is vice president, Data Monetization, Research & Analytics for AT&T AdWorks, the advertising sales division of AT&T Entertainment Group (EG). Hagopian joined AT&T AdWorks after the acquisition of DIRECTV, where as Vice President for Advanced Advertising Sales he launched and managed the nation’s first and largest addressable television platform. Hagopian has over 20 years experience in the media industry, with previous roles at ESPN, Cablevision, TV Guide, OpenTV and Acxiom. He is also an original member of the IAB. Hagopian graduated from the University of Michigan, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He holds an MBA from Columbia University.

Maria Mandel Dunsche
Maria Mandel Dunsche

Vice President – Head of Marketing

Maria Mandel Dunsche is vice president, head of Marketing for AT&T AdWorks. She oversees the division’s marketing, product marketing, and the AT&T AdWorks Lab. Mandel Dunsche has over 22 years of experience of brand marketing and agency experience, which includes positions at Ogilvy (Senior Partner, Executive Director of Digital Innovation and Digital Lab Founder), DraftFCB, Lowe Worldwide and Kraft Foods. Mandel Dunsche graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and resides in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.
